IF # 29: Mixtape
Italian Frequency presents a mixtape of old and current songs.
Exciting new releases by Marracash with the album "Persona", Levante with "Magmamemoria", Après La Classe, with "Salvador", and the return of songwriter Ivano Fossati, who had said he would not compose new music again. Yet, this is a great comeback, a collaboration with Mina, and perhaps he could not say No. The album is called "Mina, Fossati", and was out just this week!
Plus, a Thanksgiving gift: the Italian cover of "Gracias a la vida" by Chilean singer and musician Violeta Parra. This is the interpretation of folk singer Gabriella Ferri, "Grazie alla vita" (1976) : "Thanks to Life".
