"A Guide to Great Radio from Coast to Coast" has named KUSF as one of its twenty recommended radio stations. This article appears in the July issue of U.S. Airways ATTACHE in-flight magazine distributed to all U.S. Airways passengers on all of its flights during July 2000. KUSF was the only San Francisco station that made this exclusive listing.

The authors of the article "gravitated toward stations that offer an intelligent alternative to the ubiquitous Top 40-playlist variety, aiming to broaden horizons as well as to entertain. In a medum that thrives on demographic narrowcasting, some stations buck the trend by presuming that at least a certain percentage of people out there in radio land prefers an eclectic, innovative mix of sounds and viewpoints. And that's where we went with this list. When you hit the ground in a locale served by one of these stations, tune in and turn on to a unique listening experience."

According to a representative of Attache, U.S. Airways in-flight monthly magazine that named KUSF one of the top twenty radio stations in the United States in its July issue, the publication has a circulation of 440,000 and a readership of 2 million.
